I was happy to see snow, I LOVE snow. I was actually jealous of the east coast blizzard (sort of), but wish this had come around Christmas. Not in the Spring-time??

We went to the outlets in San Marcos, and Sydney made about 2,309 wishes with all the pennies I had. I wonder how many wishes she actually had in her head!
Kelli playing a game called "throw things on the ground and watch Mommy pick it up, so I can throw it back on the ground again".
So I showed her a game called "sit down, be quiet, look at the camera and pretend to be really happy"
We later drove up to Wendy's and passed the Echelon building. No more plane sticking out of it, but talking about putting that into perspective. Much different than seeing it on the news.
Kelli has to climb on EVERYTHING. off course this is reinforced by everyone squeeling "Yaaaaay Kelli!!!!"
More pics of the Echelon on the way home.
Feel so sad that there actually was a victim from this incident after the initial news was that no one was killed. There were several people injured, but they said no fatalities. Then news came they found two bodies (obviously one of the pilot). So I feel so terrible. He was a 2-time Vietnam veteran, too. And that's the way he had to go.
I love pictures of Sydney sleeping in the car.
I don't know why. Don't ask. It's just cute.

My Week, My Boring Post Title
This is the parking lot at school at 7am (which illustrates how many people love 8am classes. What a quiet morning too... little did I know 3 hours from this moment some angry dude would fly a plane into an IRS building in North Austin. Sheesh. One memorable day in our city! one for the books: 2/18/10... since normally, you know, news in Austin consists of the bats under Congress bridge breeding, when the butterflies are migrating into the city, or.. well... traffic. That's our news.
Friday, Sydney and I made more "goody bags" for the homeless, to keep in our car. We usually see them when we run errands near Town Lake etc, and they almost always have a dog. So we put dog food in there. Our treat bags have grown from lunch bags to larger plastic bags. At some point I'll have to limit myself!
We actually went LOOKING for them on our way to Wildwood Art Cafe, and didn't find one. Sydney was really disappointed.
Sydney ate a whole turkey sub herself, though she insisted the turkey was bologna... I said "you have never had bologna in your life, what do you know about bologna" and she told me "I know everything about it".
Off course!
Off course!
I got the same thing, except I had lettuce and avocado on it. It was so good. Everything in this cafe is gluten free, and I think the people get really irritated with me. Since we don't get up this way too often, I usually stand there staring at the menu and goodies saying "ummmm.... uuuhhh... and Ill have.... and I'll take one of... oh! and I want... and ummmm" with about 12 people behind me, 10 minutes later, "OH! and ONE more thing!"
It's like being in a candy store.

Sydney was giving me a face because I wouldn't go lay in bed to let her give me a check up. I told I can't do that while I'm holding Kelli and she said "well, I have a good idea. You can just put her down."
The kids next door came over to wash my car (have I mentioned how much I love my neighborhood????). So Kelli wanted to watch!

Kelli's Rollercoaster
When I dropped her off at the daycare in the gym, (I don't even want to call it a gym, it's a "fitness club" it's so fancy)... she was SO happy.
Then I heard my name on the loud speaker to "report" to the child center. I thought, great, what did Sydney do? haha.
Nope. Kelli was crying her head off and wouldn't stop. I picked her up and she passed out.
I'll probably talk to the director of the center because this is the 3rd time it's happened here and that has never happened at the YMCA. I don't know what all of their policies are, and I know they get more traffic there, but for crying?
I think she might have been teething so I gave her tylenol and bounced her around, Sydney played some more but Kelli was NOT happy being there anymore so we went to the cafe and ate and Kelli got upset again so we skipped the zoo (poor Sydney... didn't get to swim either!) and went home.

Between trying to use the 'free' 2 hour childcare at the gym to study (no dice) and Sydney's ballet lesson (no dice) this is what Kelli did to me. Pulled on my pants all day, cried, wouldn't let me put her down, cried some more. I ended up caving and gave her the big guns: ibuprofren. And that actually seemed to do the trick for a little bit. Thank God Sydney wasn't so needy yesterday.
I couldn't get ANY babysitters. None.
So I am about to take a test without one ounce of studying under my belt.
So far I have one B+ and an A+ and I'm trying to stay on that track! I'll die if I get anything under a B.
