Ice Cream!

Take a guess how long we stood here while she made a decision.
No seriously.
Guess.

aaahhhh.... sweet Jesus.
This brings a whole new meaning to "quiet time".

End of Season Soccer Party

Veronica was so nice to make the cupcakes gluten free so Sydney could have some!

Andy is handing out medals to the team, it was really cute. The kids really love him and he loved coaching. I think he's going to do it again next season.

Her proud moment

"Okay everyone, raise your hand if you had fun playing soccer this season"
(so cute)

Go Strikers!

Look I have a medal and a cupcake Mom!

Surprise!!!

I'm never taking this shirt off.

So the cover was blown Friday night but I had NOOOOOO clue LC Rocks was going to be playing!! Score 1 for everyone keeping that a secret! I saw the lead singer come off the elevator and just thought he was there for dinner and then I caught on when a band began setting up. WHOA!!! AWESOME!

That's right. Take me down to Paradise City!

My cousin Pach came!

And my fun neighbors/friends Kristina & Aaron!!!!

Vicki and her daughters Jose & Kaylee (I felt bad, they left before my Mom got there with the cake, so I'm saving some for the girls!)

Ben & Carey made the trek from San Antonio! That was really special. (glittery hearts, sparkles and butterflies in that shout-out fo sho!)

This is not how my sister and brother in law pose for all pictures.
Just some.

My "baby" cousins. Divina and Micah.

This was so cute, two old couples were gettin' DOWN to Poison!

Carey started getting frisky!

I was making sure someone got a picture of Andy and I. Always happens we don't get a picture together, so that's a new thing... I stop and make sure someone snaps a pic!

The sunset!

Wendy whipped out the glow sticks. This was just before I got on stage with the band and danced/sang to Led Zepplin. (no pictures on my camera, sorry but I believe my responsible husband took video.)

Me & Snoop Dogg... I mean Doc Mijares.

Don't think I had taken a shot in years (the truth) so this was a dare. My friend Carey is a bad influence on me and my sisters.

It was good.
No.
Really.

Kristina is like "no really... he's a patient of mine. I'm just chaperoning him on his night out from the hospital".
I actually don't know if this picture was taken before or after Aaron hit on my mom.

Some more of my amazing friends/neighbors. We really do kick it on the best street in the neighborhood. These peeps are wicked cool!

We've been very blessed to have the Sosa's in our life!

I love Mom!!!
(I need pictures from my sisters and Andy's phone because I thought I had some of me with them. Wish I had more of me with the Berkowitzes and Vicki etc)
It was a blast!!!!

Mommy's First Day Off

I'm finally out of school! So I took the girls to Goin Bananas and out to eat to celebrate FULL TIME MOMMY MODE!! WOOT WOOT!

Kelli was all over the train tables.

And despite the fact that there were 9 inflatable bounce houses, Sydney was giving all her attention to the bean bag toss. Wait... what's today? Thursday?
Ewps. I was supposed to take Sydney to school.
Haha!!! My bad. See how things just turn upside down when my schedule is thrown for a loop AND Andy is out of town foreverrrrrrr?

I took them to Texican Cafe (yum!!) because Sydney was telling me how much she "neeeeeded" quesadillas (or "Mexican pizza") and this place was on the way home. For being there by myself with the girls, they were so good.

Kelli had: guacamole, beans, cheese, rice, more guacamole, chicken, tortillas, more guacamole, and more beans. And more cheese. (Sydney scarffed down the entire quesadilla, too. guess we played hard!)

This is how Kelli blows her food when it's hot.

Mother's Day 2010

Uh, yeah. Do I need anything else for Mother's Day?
no.

Okay, maybe a hug from this cutie!

We call her "the cake boss". Whenever there's cake... she's in charge of candles, singing and blowing out the flames (or helping). Not that we tell her to, she volunteers and shoves her way in.

Wouldn't take her eye off that cake!

Q-Ts!!!

Really? Honestly? What other mother on this earth could possibly be more proud than ME.
Good. Lord. I have some good, adorable, sweet, fun, crazy chil-renz.

Can I point out here that Kelli is LETTING Sydney wash her, and let me be more specific: wash her HAIR. (Kelli won't even let me wash her hair... or her... 1/2 the time). But Sydney was doing it and she was giggling and having a ball. Sisters are so cool I guess.

Before I snuck out of the house to study on Monday (and whither in pain at the coffee house), Sydney & Mom sang me happy birthday with a gluten free coffee cake. (how appropriate).
Can't believe I'm 30! And a nice kidney stone to rock in the new decade, woot! (I'm feeling okay, don't let the dramatics fool you).
I've covered one thing on the bucket list. That tattoo I've been designing in my head for a few years now. Finally! (okay, two things. Finishing school). What next?
