Post Tubes

Friday, the day after Kelli got her tubes, she was doing pretty well. We decided to meet friends at the park for a small picnic and play time. No pictures from the park, but we got a few afterwards. It was a really nice day. Windy at first, but the sun came out and it felt like Spring. Is this really January???

After we met Mikey & Carley (and Mommy Carey) at the park, we walked around Southpark Meadows, which has every store on the planet (no complaints here! okay... some from Sydney). We went to Marshalls, and got a couple new dress up gowns for Syd (cheapo!), then off to Children's Place for nothing in particular but $35 later I had a cute outfit for Kelli, new hat and the girls had matching sunglasses. Waste, Kelli, as it turns out, is one of those kids who will not leave on glasses or hats. (Sydney, on the other hand, LOVED them... or the attention she got when wearing them, either way. She wore sunglasses and hats since 8mo). Doesn't that picture just illustrate how nice it was outside? You can just tell!
After Children's Place we went to Hobby Lobby and got more card making supplies for Sydney's cards and story books she likes to make. On sale 6.99!

I finally buckled the hat on Kelli and she gave up. Mad. But relented. Guess what else she started today? This game: pick up the bottle. throw on ground. Mommy picks it up, puts it back on stroller. At the same time, drop binky on the ground. Mommy picks it up, puts it back, same time as Kelli pushes bottle back on the ground.
So her true colors are coming out now that she feels better huh. She's gonna be one of "those" kids. Hates hats, fights medicine, throws everything on the ground, won't let me wipe her nose & plays with everything but her baby toys (ie; tv buttons).
