Dress Rehearsal

She was SOOOOOOO cute!!! And she knew all her moves! Andy and I were very proud! we missed the first routine rehearsal bc I was fighting contractions (5 minutes apart! but not tooooo painful), so we got there late.

Went to Mamacitas afterwards... the iPhone is the perfect "sit in your seat and be quiet" tool. She's really good at it!! She would pick the computer or iPhone over a dollhouse anyday.

she was happy when she woke up, but soon her smiley face turned into this. so pouty!! man she looks like Daddy when he's mad.

after errands, we meet MeMaw at the park and then have lunch. Sydney was so snuggly on her. Probably kissing butt for some ice cream.

after all the errands and activities in the morning and afternoon... mommy needed some quiet time... therefore... Sydney needed some quiet time.

Ryah's Bday Playdate

I cant believe how soon we'll be bringing another baby home with us!!! I keep looking in this room trying to imagine it...

Sydney walked Dagny a few times... she had bad asthma brought on by allergies, so it was interrupted by breaks in the stroller.

Me: okay... g'night sweetie. give me a smoocher...
Syd: no... im NOT letting you go! (grabs me and holds on tight)
Me: what?? why not....
Syd: because I need you
Me: no you dont baby... you're a big girl. you dont need me all night.
Syd: yes I do... you're my Angel and you keep me safe at night.
Me: awww... I'm your Mommy. Angels come from Heaven.
Syd: well you came from Heaven. And I want YOU to be my Angel because you keep me safe.

Memorial Day

She fell asleep on the way up to Wendy's, so she was in a pretty GOOD mood when we got there.

Doug wasn't feelin' the man discussion... I actually woke up from MY nap and took this picture because he was snoring like a bear. Thanks Doug.

Syd was still in the pool with the girls, so I went out there to cool my poor, swollen feet.

Wendy needs to be her swim instructor. She got her to do more things in one hour than both swim coaches did in two months.

she even swam ON HER OWN with floaties.

she felt like such a big kid. I could see it all over her face how proud she felt!

But when we left, she decided to be "the baby" and made Wendy carry her to the car.
I'm mad I didnt get many pictures of Mom & Jenny... OR ME! oh well. All the action is wherever Sydney is....Happy Memorial day!
