Nutty Brown's

It was such a great evening Friday night, we decided to take advantage of the weather and sit outside Nutty Brown's while we eat. Sydney had to take an important business call on the way there. In fact, she asked us to keep it down several times because she was "on an interview".

This is how it should be EVERY time Mom & Dad are trying to eat peacefully. Though Kelli has a knack for dragging me by the hand to go wherever SHE goes. So even though she was occupied and happy with her sister, she still approached me to follow her several times. "Mommy? Play? Mommy, walk!"

Her new thing is to say a sentence and end it with "bam" or boom. For instance "and den I go BOOM" or "I see a truck! Bam!" as if she magically made the truck appear there. Everything BAM and BOOM! (usually preceded by throwing something, though)

Who brought an 8 year old to the... oh... that's our 5yo Sydney.
When did she get so tall?

That FACE.
Despite the chocolate almond milk, flower in her hair and the bright pink pacifier... she's TOUGH, and she MEANS IT.

Yeah. She's like a 4th grader in this picture.

"your name is Sydney??? MY NAME IS SYDNEY TOOOOO!!!!!!"
Didn't matter that Cheeto (the parrot) was talking to them "hello!" and laughing (literally, like a human)... these two were over the moon about the fact they had the same name. A bird named CHEETO is TALKING to you.
Nope. Another talking human girl named Sydney is the same height as me... and her name is SYDNEY.
