Easter Day

Off course we got home from church and I hurried Kelli's matching dress off and put her down for nap and not once got a cute picture of her and Sydney together in their matching Easter dresses. Off course. AAAHHH!!
Anyway, so it was wet out and the Easter bunny was nice enough to hide all the eggs inside for Sydney. Andy was soooooo worn out from the jet skis, he couldn't even sit up to watch it all go down. (I think he laid down or slept about 85% of the day!!)

"That bunny can't fool me!"

I couldn't fit everything in the basket, so I had to wrap it all up in plastic and tie it up. Sydney got the books she's been BEGGING for: Knuffle Bunny & Pinkalicious (one of which we had, but now cannot find)

She got books and crafts (and about 500 eggs stuffed with jelly beans and m&m's. don't worry, Mommy will help you tend to those)

Kelli opened her basket after her nap at MeMaw's... nothing in particular she 'likes' or 'needs'. Just stuffed with random things solely for the purpose of her "unpacking" it.

She was fascinated by the eggs, though... mostly because I think she saw how interested Sydney is in the eggs. Hers do not have candy in them, however, just Cheerios.

Syd got to hunt for more eggs at MeMaw's. Seriously, there is no exaggeration when I say she has about ... at LEAST 100 eggs filled with either jelly beans, m&m's, or gummy snacks. She is set until the Fall with "after dinner treats".

Oh we found the fig newtons.

note: break up the fig newtons in the future.

later on, in order to get Sydney to eat all her corn, Aunt Jenny challenged Sydney to a corn-eating contest...

Sydney finally just retired the fork and began picking up handfuls of corn and stuffing it in her face to win. "what's my prize?"... Aunt Wendy chimes in "a healthy dinner!"
