Kelli @ 6 Months

Our wee little one! She is just 24 inches long and barely 14lbs! What a petite nugget compared to our monkey, Sydney, who (at this age) was already 26.5 inches and 20lbs! Haha! So going by this rate, the doctor said Kelli will be a little shortie, probably around 5'0 to 5'1" tall. Better get her used to high heels now and hope she is the fast one on the field! The doctor also discovered a nasty double ear infection and noted her adenoids were enlarged, and with the shape of her face, it caused a backwards drain into her ears. So this may indicate she needs surgery in the near future to prevent ongoing infections and permenant damage. Also noted, was a "loose left hip". We are being sent in for an ultrasound about this. Dr. Lincoln said this could be nothing at all, and maybe she is double jointed. But it's something she wants looked at now before a problem is overlooked and effects crucial development. I am hoping this is nothing, as right now she seems to be doing fine with crawling and sitting. Although, for the record, her crawling mostly takes her BACKWARDS and not forwards, but I recall that happening with Sydney too. And she is sitting just fine and doesnt seem upset or in pain. Anyway. Otherwise Kelli is alert and on track. And definitely cute, if I do say so myself!
