Southpark After Dark

Andy said this is like the postcard for American Living!
We got to this free concert series in the spring/summer at Southpark Meadows (which is a shopping center up the road from us... where I do pretty much all of my shopping!)
They have the sprinklers going, free live music and families camped out on lawn chairs chatting and eating ice cream.

This was the band ... you can't see Sydney but as soon as she heard music she ran over there and began dancing.

Syd's in the blue swimsuit.

See the boy behind her? He kept standing over the sprinklers and letting the water hit his... you know whats. He'd laugh and then grab himself and Sydney thought it was funny... this is the face she gave us when we yelled over to her "Sydney!! Dont you do that!!! Not funny!!" lol

we saw our friends Brooke and Sean there. we met them at the Buda Easter egg hunt and they have a little one who is 2, and her name is Sydney as well. We call them big Sydney and little Sydney.

It was such a nice evening and even perfect weather. But Syd and I went to get soft serve cones and when we got back the band had stopped and panic was in the air. A little girl named Jordan turned up missing and NO ONE could find her anywhere. Everyone had to stay seated and get their kids off the playground etc until she was found. They called police and it took about 40 minutes, but they finally got her!!!!! It was so scary.

  2. well first of all, the mom was HYSTERICAL... which I would be too, but no one could even get a description of the girl out of her, not even what she was wearing. she wouldn't answer questions she just kept screaming and crying. so that's probably ONE reason it took so long to find the girl.

once everyone was off the playground and in their seats etc, they found her.

    on the freakin playground!

    i mean.
